Malouf™ Announces Sharon Gjertsen as Director of Furniture Merchandising
LOGAN, Utah—Malouf™ has announced Sharon Gjertsen as their new Director of Furniture Merchandising. An integral part of the Malouf™ product development team, Gjertsen will continue to expand and develop the company’s Salt Flat™ furniture line (a company Malouf™ acquired in 2020), as well as furniture for Malouf Home™ and Weekender™.

In her new role, Gjertsen will oversee strategy planning and execution, product design and development, sourcing and logistics across all Salt Flat™ categories—living room, dining room, outdoor and occasional—and select pieces for Malouf Home™ and Weekender™. Gjertsen shared, “I’m very impressed with Malouf’s product lineup, especially Salt Flat™. It’s style focused and on-trend, and we want to keep it that way while finding ways to elevate the assortments.”
Gjertsen has devoted her entire career to the furniture industry. During that time, she has fulfilled multiple buyer and vice president roles for industry powerhouses like Art Van and Kane Furniture. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Merchandising at Star Furniture, where she led the product strategy, development and pricing to drive sales.
